Arrow Electrical Problem

Hey guys . I have a 2005 AP2 with 11,000 miles on the car . And i have a Fullrace turbo kit with a 3mm inlinepro headgasket. So here is my story ;

I storaged my car for winter for about 3 months with the battery disconnected. Last week i wanted to take the car out of storage so i connected the battery. Everything seemed fine and the car started fine.

Then i took the car to service and changed every oil in the car and also had them install a 4th gauge to my car ( Defi oil temp gauge ) . After the install , something happened and my car wont start without jump starting ( Supporting my cars battery with another cars battery ).

So we checked everthing but we couldnt find the problem. We checked the battery and it was fine , we also checked the alternator and it was fine too.

We took the car to an electrical shop and they recommened doing some earthing from the the battery to the car. So we tried it and it worked. But it was still cranking longer than usual to start the car.

After 3 days i parked the car to the garage , i tried starting it again but the same problem happened again. It wont start !

Please tell me your opinions about this issue

Thanks

That sounds like your battery is failing under load, prob a cell has gone down, try and borrow a battery to check it against!

Did you load test the battery to confirm it is good. Simply checking for voltage with a DVOM can be misleading. If the battery is tested good then you have a parasitic draw. Something is drawing excessive current from the battery while the vehicle is sitting/key off. Since the problem began after the guage install it would be wise to double check the wiring and test the guage itself. Take it to any dealer or indep shop and have them perform a current draw test.
