Default emanage/uego questions

this search button is killing me. ONE page of results viewable?! ugh!

anyway...

getting ready to run on emanage ultimate. just picked up an aem uego gauge and sensor to pair everythign up.

will plugging the uego into the emanage allow for real time fuel changes like on ems?

do i have to keep my stock o2 sensor with EMU? in other words, do i need to get another bung welded in for my uego?

and if so, where is the best place for a bung? i have seen people put one on the front of the cat, i was just thinking about throwing one on the end of my downpipe...

any help? i KNOW these are probably all reposts and i am sorry. i cannot get this search function to work accurately enough for this one.

Is the header the best place to put the bung? I was thinking of putting it right after the header.

Opinions?

exactly my dilemna duff!

i have seen a few pictures of people welding a new bung on to the front side of the cat, but i think throwing it on the downpipe (before the cat flange) is a better spot.

i was thinking about running to an exhaust shop today and having that done but now on second thought it may be a better idea to wait until everything is on the car so i can be sure i don't have clearance issues.

i have been told to place the uego sensor ~18-20 inches from the outlet of the turbo/exhaust to ensure the most accurate reading. i am a little confused as of now. i suppose i have time to do more homework before my kit goes on late next week!

should be about the same. basically i would add another bung next to the original sensor. that sensor reads the same thing that the uego one does (to a certain point) so we know that one is placed optimally

Put it at the end of the header.

has a consensus been reached on this? i just got mine and i'm wondering where i should get the bung welded on. end of the header, or test pipe in front of the stock o2 sensor?

i ended up going with putting the bung at the end of the downpipe/header. it came down to the fact that i did NOT want to hack up my stock cat. although the first section of the cat has nothing in it (the part where the inlet fans out) i still didn't want to have an extra hole in the car. if i ever sell my turbo kit i'll just throw the wideband in with it - no big deal.
