I went performance race industry And talk to aem in person and this thing is mainly for doon buggys and stuff. That's what the aem rep told me

I think I remember its because the case and the harness are weather proof........ I think thats what he told me pretty sure though

It has 4 coil driver outputs.....so if this were wired to an external ignition controller like AEM's or M&W's it could run wasted spark and be used for a 8 cylinder........
This is just my guess though.
*Edit* Just realized it still only has 4 injector drivers so its a no go on anything over 4 cylinders.

Like Jeff said it just looks like a universal EMS that is not plug and play. Nothing out of the ordinary.

The EMS-4 is just a scaled down version of the Series 2 EMS.

The instruction link on AEM's site is not active because the unit hasn't been officially released to the public yet.

Other than that, all the info for the box is on AEM's site.

Of course aem is going to say its not really suited for cars, they are trying to rape you with the series 2. i would rather do up the harness not really hard just time consuming. I want to see the future of this
