EMU and cylinder misfiring
After reading some of the previous posts about this, I'm still curious as to how these codes would be triggered. The setup is a custom one and it's running off of emanage ultimate for engine management. It's not fully tuned but it has been tuned for idling purposes and will be hitting the dyno for proper tuning under boost soon. In any case, it was running very well for the past little while (a couple of months or so) and the only code I ever had was code 74 (I think it was this, it was for running very rich) and had that remedied. All of a sudden I felt the car a boggy and as everyone has said before who's had this problem, it sounded like it was missing.
So I pulled the codes and sure enough it was misfiring, but in all cylinders. My questions now are basically, how does this happen? I've seen people troubleshoot from bent valves all the way to changing out the coil packs and are still having problems. Could something in the EMU have altered? Also, I read of a fellow who swapped something in place of the EMU which was acting up and decided it was safer to run with the misfiring than the lean conditions of the alternative, so if running out of boost while having these codes, will it harm the car?

Well you have been running really rich so have you tried installing new plugs?
