Default Engine builders chime in

Hello all, I am in the process of building my ap1 block. I am not new to rebuilding engines but I am new to the s2000 and just wanted to know if they have the same similarities as the b series engine. On the b series engine they use color codes on the bearings and I wanted to know if this was the same for the f20 motor. If anyone has any tips that made the process easier please chime in as I dont want to make the same mistakes Im sure some of you have made. Thanks in advance.

I've always used ACL race bearings. H, HX, and H .025 ....mix and match to get the exact clearances you need.

Plasti gauge my son. It will tell you the tolerance you need. Then compare that with the stamps on the motor as those letters correspond with specs as well.

Dial bore gauge

But they're pretty expensive, that's why most people don't have them.
