Default Essential and efficient gauge setup (2 max) for SC?

I have a newly installed KW v.2 SC kit, AEM EMS Series 2, and an AEM wideband gauge pillar mounted.

I'm going to get rid of the pillar mount and mount 2 gauges where the radio used to be. I'd like to display boost and A/F, but flexibility is nice.

What is recommended? I am leaning towards a pair of PLX DM-6 gauges. From what I can tell, however, the DM-6's don't get the data from the AEM EMS, they need PLX sensors. Is this correct?

As an alternative, it appears 2 AEM serial guages can be connected directly to the EMS w/o needing additional sensors?

Lastly, is anyone running the e-nough logic setup that interfaces PLX gauges with the AEM, w/o using the PLX sensors?

Thanks

I would run 2 aem serial gauges. Or 1 serial gauge and one defi boost gauge.

Thanks - with the AEM serial gauges no additional sensors are required for boost, coolant temp, A/F, oil pressure?

Oil temp will need a sensor. Others will work.

This is a pic of my 2 gauges in the radio slot, this is also when I had a carputer, running AEM dashboard. I now have the Digital Logic set up and can run tons of gauges all at once, it works on apple products, I have a mini iPad, but you could use an iPhone or iPod.

I love the aem serial gauges. You do need a sensor for oil pressure. Think it's just called aem brass sensor.

Yeah, I have that pic saved to my computer - remember I PM'd you about your radio door. I'm going to copy your setup - 2 gauges behind the door, a switch to turn on my amp, a double USB outlet, and a volume control if there's room. I have a stalk also, but mounted two bicycle cup holders to it.

How is the E-nough/digital Logic setup? Do you prefer it to stand-alone gauges? I just last Christmas gave my iPhone 5 to my mother and got a Galaxy S5, and the only tablet I have is an old Nexus 7. How's the brightness and glare of the iPad?

Thanks

Chiung, we spoke via email about your plans. You can't go wrong with the AEM Serial gauge if you only need to view 1 parameter at a time, it's simple and can display what you need. Since you already have the AEM wideband, I think 1 Serial gauge + your current AEM wideband will get you pretty far. With the serial gauge it's easy to view boost, IAT ECT, AFR etc.

If you want to view oil pressure you would need to wire up the oil pressure sensor to the AEM EMS. It's fairly easy for Series 2 users, but quite a bit more complicated for Series 1 users, but definitely possible. I'll follow up with how to properly display it using the AEM ProGauge software if anyone needs help setting it up.
