Default ETD for superchargers S2000's

Hi,

I have a CTSC, and noticed this FPR http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-S200...#ht_1913wt_979

My engine mounts are probably past their best and I don't want to change out the old ones - cant be bothered.

Looks like it will fit and clear the SC mounting bracket but the place where it attachs to/from looks a little unsecure IYKWIM???

Will an ETD actually help much? i guess it will reduce power loss ever so slightly and reduce hop and give a direct feel?

Cheers

Hey AJ, I’ve got a puddymod etd bracket made from alum that I can part with if your interested, I’m not running my damper anymore. You could probably look it up for pics on his website. It attaches to the fuse block location which is more strait/inline with the engine mount location, which i think would make it more effective. I think I paid $65 for it. You can have it for $35 if you want it. PM me.

Also with a Comptech when you look at this picture there is actually a hole here on the mounting face, there must be a couple of inch length but its it 'doesnt' look like its threaded - can anyone confirm?

If not my tap it and install the ETD to here?

I'm curious about this also, can you run the Ingalls EDT that mounts on the front of the engine with a Vortech/Comptech/Science of Speed kit?? It seems like it would work perfectly with the Kraftwerks kit, but I've been wondering about the others for a while now..

I think it would just foul but it looks close I've looked into the ingalls one as the mount point is different.

Does anybody know if the Ingalls ETD will work with a Comptech/Vortech, Science of Speed, or TTS kit?? I'm pretty sure it should work with the Kraftwerks kit.. (from the looks of it)

I just bought an NRG unit that I believe is going to work with my Comptech kit. I will have a definite answer with pictures in a week or so after install. The only modification to the unit may be drilling one additional mount hole.

It will definitely not work with Comptech/Vortech. The SC bracket uses the same mounting point as Ingalls ETD. I have no experience with SOS or TTS to contribute.
