Exhasut Dilemma :(
Ok, so I picked up my Magnfaflow 3" inlet/outlet STainless Steel mufflers today, they look great will look even better with my stock '04 tips welded on.
So I go to a bunch of Muffler shops and they all say the largest piping they could do is 2.5 inches.........I found one place that will do the 3" piping all the way back and he said they "do a great job" even stainless if I wanted to but the total would be around $800, or $900. I spent $270 on the mufflers and now lets say $900.00 for the welding, is this going to be worth it, or what? Maybe I should do 3" straight pipe from the 3" Y pipe that I bought and then 2.5 from there to the 3" mufflers, or with the shitty bends will that be way to restrictive? What do you guys think, spring for the $800 for the 3" custom job or what?
(Money is not really the issue here, just don't want to spend $800 for a $300.00 job)

If they are doing 3" stainless they are charging the "right" amount of money formaterials and labor.
Anything less is definatley a hook up price.

Just make sure its good quality stainless, and make sure they do good work. I would definately ask to see some previous work they did, cause this is something you will have a hard time getting a refund if you don't like it.
