Exhaust cut out valve, too loud or modify
Hi guys,
I'll be going with an inline pro stage 2 street kit borg warner S363 and will install an exhaust cut off valve.
Will it be insanely loud? - if so can you modify the pipe or add a small muffler to make a little quieter?
I hear it helps performance and the turbo spool up time, I'll running the stock exhaust (which has UK exhaust mod) and get the valve to open at around 6psi.
Thanks

I had a SP cutout installed for my S/C kit, but took it off since it was way too loud. I imagine that it won't be as loud with turbo. I suggest hearing how loud it is with one of your locals before forking out the cash or buying mine for cheap
I will be running one for my setup. I have an HKS dual which has the same size piping as stock. The exhaust cut out will help a lot with spool, power, and I also believe heat. The stock size piping is very restrictive. If you are looking for anything around 400whp or above, I would consider it. It will not be loud unless you give it the beans.
