Doubtful. I was lucky enough for one of my nuts to fall off before the stud broke. I went to tighten the nut back onto the stud, and the stud broke clean off.

Upon further investigation, I noticed that the inner area (just below the surface) of the stud basically melted and turned to a clay texture which leads me to believe its heat, not vibration, that causes them to break.

Aside from that, I don't think most turbo kits even allow a torque dampener as it would be in the way of the pipes and what not.

I just got the ARP studs, and they work great. Highly recommended

Well all of the Honda blocks had this issue.

The B series engines always looses the outside studs even on a stock exhaust manifold.

These studs weren't meant for any other application, and increase an power and weight on the studs don't help it.

We have used ARP studs plenty of times, and they work really well.

i just ordered a set as well! Any advice on how to get a broken exhaust stud out of the head?
The studs are normally pretty loose and you should be able to grab it with a pair of vise grips and screw it out like i did.

ok i had the same thing happen to me, snapped one off and had another just loosen up to the point where its going to fail as well. If I can just order an SRT4 ARP stud kit I will do that.

would that work? Thanks!!
