My current system is sweet and I do not have any recordings of it yet.

Here is an experimental exhaust from a few years back that ended up being too loud for the street:

Are you looking for this kind of recording or flybys or what?

No not just for flyby or recording - permanent sound for racing.
I listened to yours and it sounds the same as mine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klust9PU2tk
As buggy said -- the pulse and frequency is wrong, it will be a challenged to produce a good sounding sound. I will stop looking for it.
Thank you.

Buggy- putting a turbo or superchargers screwed the sound too.
Hey is that a sandrail ?

The HKS S2000 exhaust is rumored to be one of the best sounding S2000 exhausts. I have also been told the Asura exhaust sounds great, though I have never heard mine form the outside. A bit of turbo whistle also helps.

With that said, if you want an exotic exhaust sound to rival any supercar, consider a 4 rotor swap. Nasty cammed big block at idle and F1 car at WOT...

Yes won't sound like a v8 v10 or v12 but IMHO S2 probably the best sounding 4 banger out there.

By far the best sounding exhaust on a boosted s2000 is the Challenge 76TA-RM.

Resonator no muffler. Reminds me of the exhaust note from the mk4 supra.

People avoid it because of how it sounds on NA applications. Its too raw for vast majority of users. However it sounds deep and smooth with a turbo to act as a muffler. Total 180 degree opposite from what it sounds like on an NA car.
