Default exhaust pop/flame

So I just supercharged my car last week. Ive got a vortech kit, currently running it at 6.5 psi which is making 212 kw at the wheels with a HKS high flow exhaust and tuned on a haltech EMS. when I hit about 8,8.5 k Im getting a pop out of my exhaust. my first guess was it was just back pressure on the exhaust but tonight I was driving on a really dark road and noticed an orange light through the rear view mirror. So it looks as if fuel is some how igniting at high revs. Is this common? should I be worried?

I dont hear a pop but I do shoot flames. My tune is fine and never had any problems. Seems common to me.

Are you popping flames with a catalytic converter still in the system?

Its not "normal" and you should talk to your tuner about it.

This only happens when I shifting into gears when going WOT and taking it to redline. I thought it happened since the exhaust kinda of stops flowing fast and all that unburnt gases get trapped in there, and when the throttle is opened again, it ignites that unburnt gas in the pipes which cause fireballs to come out. I do have a test pipe, I don't think it's normal for this to happen with a CAT.

Mine "pops" sometimes when driving hard in the mountains. I also have a test pipe and my tune is rich during WOT.
