Default Exhaust question

Will leaving the stock exhaust on be harmful? Obviously it may hurt power gains, but aside from that will it cause any damage? I'm having a difficult time finding an exhaust that I like sound wise and might keep the stocker until I do.

On a side note, can anyone reccomend an exotic or tasteful sportbike sounding dual exhaust?

the best way to gauge how bad stock is for your particular setup is to keep an eye on exhaust gas temps during tuning. I'm not sure what people set as a cap when tuning an S2000, but I would expect the tuner handling your car to know.

I wish there were a way for me to hear what it sounds like for comparison.

I'm still running the stock exhaust. My tuner also monitors my EGT when tuning. Everything was fine, but it does restrict flow a little.

When I had my T1R 70mm, everyone at the meets thought my car sounded like a GSXR sport bike when I was in VTEC. Best sounding 4cyl exhaust I've ever heard.

I too had the T1R 70 single. Sounded great, but loud. Have you considered the T1R 70R Sparrow(dual)?
