Default Exhaust Questions

Okay... First of all im stuck. Im going turbo in about a year (still saving up and waiting for warranty to expire) and im going with the greddy kit. Im stuck on a exaust. What would be a good power proven exaust for a turbo set up that is known to actually cause some damage?

I have another option too. Since im extremely bored of having my S for almost a year and not a sound coming up as i rev through the gears i wanted to get something in the meantime. My shop said that we can go with Magnaflow canisters to still give it that OEM look and then just do the custom 3inch piping later to go along with the turbo.

Does that should like something to do? If i do imma end up paying another 200 bucks for the mandrel piping later since im hesitant now. Or is there something else that can work better than a custom setup?

You need a good 70mm system if you want to go FI. It's that simple, pick out the one you like.

No you won't.

The 70mm exhausts I've seen (and owned) have gains across the powerband, so dont worry about any midrange loss.

I don't Know how those magnaflows are going to sound, but your headed in the right direction. Since you're going to boost it, look at the q300 by invidia. Gives it a nice stock look, but yet an awesome sound. See if you can just get the canisters and you"ll be set when your ready to Turbo. Also make sure they are 3" canisters otherwise your going to have to scrap the them and get a new exhaust setup when you go turbo bro.
