Default Exhaust recommendations

Recently installed J's 70rr single exhaust and love the gains, but its a little loud and the fuzz in my area are cracking down on loud or excessively loud exhaust. Can anyone recommend another single set-up that has just as good gains or close to J's 70rr thats not as loud? I have just installed a header, J's 70rr, Exedy hyper single clutch kit, 04-05 cryo-treated diff. housing and have a aftercooled comptech supercharger (not installed yet). From reading a lot of posts and talking to various people, it seems a lot of people with FI go with or strongly recommend single exhaust. I guess my question is can I get a single exhaust that is not too loud or has a silencer option and has good or great gains? Do not want any kind of fart can sounding exhaust, the J's sounds great but is just too loud. Or is a dual exhaust ok with FI? Any feed back would be great, and sorry ahead of time if these are posted in the wrong section or if these seem like dumb questions! Thanks.

I personally like the dual, because with the single exhaust, the rear end does not look balanced. But from a power standpoint, you will always get more from a single.

BTW- I think most single exhausts are going to be pretty loud, Although I hear the single Apex-I one is somewhat quiet for a single.

I'm really not too concerned with looks as I will be getting the delete kit for the left side opening that is left. I just want the better single set up that is not too loud but still offers substantial gains. I have been to the S2000 library and listened to different exhausts but without seeing dyno results, its is very difficult to choose. Anyone out there using a single set up with s/c application that is very happy with sound and performance? Again any input is appreciated.
