Default F.I. w/ stock exhaust?

Do you think it's ok to put a Supercharger on w/ a stock exhaust?

Yes it is OK, you will just have less power, but also less noise.

i ran a stock exhaust setup with my old UR kit. I made 380whp. I recently went back to a stock exhaust on my current full-race setup. I run an electronic cutout for times when i need high boost, but running about 10psi on stock exhaust has to be at least 400whp, as the thing is fast!

for louder exhausts, does adding FI quiet them down a bit? i thought i read a few people saying it makes it a little tamer.

a turbocharger will deaden the sound down a bit, as it acts as kind of a restriction in the exhaust. a supercharger will likely not change the volume of your exhaust, though.

Zsak - what psi are you making 320whp at? also, are you on stock compression or a 3mm hg?

No that would be turbo your thinkig of. SC pushes more velocity through your exhaust and makes it noticably louder in the higher rpms, thats my experience. Your engine is producing X amount of added power and its going to tell you about it.
