I tried clicking on the first 3 links under the
"Some Turbo experience links:"
section and it gave me a "Bad Entry".

Were you planning on adding any positive turbo experiences? Or even anything more recent then late 2003? Turbo kits have come a loooong way since the first kits were introduced 2 years ago.

The whole point of the added links is to make available old threads which some of you wouldn't have seen otherwise.

Show me a thread where everything went smoothly on a Turbo car, I'll gladly put it in the FAQ.

Turbo kits haven't changed that drastically in 2 years.

fperra and Tinker219 come to mind just off the top of my head. I hope I didn't give the impression that you should take down the other links. There's a lot of experience that can be drawn from other people's mistakes & failures. But you're right, turbo kit hardware itself hasn't changed much but tuning strategies (as I'm sure you'll agree) sure as hell have. From reading the older threads tuning and installation problems caused by inexperience seemed to be the biggest problems.

Thanks Slows2k.

I've been a member for quite a while now, but didn't follow the FI discussions until I started thinking about putting FI on my own car. I'd used the search function, but was still left with questions and concerns. This FAQ update confirms my suspicions and tells me all I need to know to make the right decision.

Many thanks!
