Default Blown Garrett turbo, need advice!

Hey guys i recently traded my wheels for a turbo kit, took the turbo to get rebuilt and they said the blades are screwed and want 850 to fix it, i just need to know if i can find a decently sized precision turbo for around the same amount. Also i would like to know what size precision turbo most of you guys use, im looking to run around 400hp+
is the 6262 something i should look into.

5858 journal bearing is $899 but... Might not last any longer than yours if you rebuild it.

You can get your turbo rebuilt for less than $850 for sure. I had my turbo rebuilt for $315 for labor and the rebuild kit, then another $200 for the turbine wheel that I needed to replace. So all in all, I have a pretty much brand spanking new turbo for less than $550, plus a 1 year warranty on the rebuild.

Is ball bearing? If so that would be about right because you have to buy a whole new CHRA they can not be rebuilt like a journal bearing can.

I have a ball bearing gt30r available for less than that. Under 2500 miles, great working condition.

That gt30r would be perfect for his goal and would have great spool time.

I would recommend a PTE 5858. That will easily make 400whp.
