We are running the PPGear Dogbox transmission.

 

jeeeeeeez man.........you know.....350 WHP makes me think that i can probably pull on ALOT of cars around here.....but sheesh even Chris's 455 WHP is just insane........but yet again.....mine is daily driven.

 

ever think about going to a GM tranny (2 or 3 speed) - less shifts, maybe faster 1/4?

 

the race class we race in only permits modified stock motor and tranny. Maybe later on we might switch to a powerglide once we exhaust this setup..and have optimized the motor combo on racegas.

 

would it be the first s2000 w/ that kind of a tranny swap?


It would be something else to see an s2000 break 1000rwhp and weight 2700 lbs with driver.
fat slicks, and you've got yourself on hell of a 1/4 mile beast.
