Figured out
So on my last two drives, after I pull the car into the garage there is a heavy smell of burnt gas. I just changed the oil about 60 miles ago, and went to check the oil and when I wiped the dip stick off, there was a faint smell of gas in the oil. I was wondering if this is a common occurrence for turbo'd applications. I've read threads stating it was normal, and I've read threads that say vice versa. I'd like to get a final synopsis. The car seems to be running good. The afr is about 11.1-11.9 under wot, and 11.5-12.9 at redlights. Thanks for any help guys
You want 14.7 AFRs from 0 to about 75 kpa. Then 13.8 - 13.0 from 76-0psi and then I'm assuming 11s for anything over that since your in boost (I've never tuned a boosted engine before, only N/A)
If you are always in the 11s and 12s, I'm assuming your gas mileage is also atrocious

that's to rich for closed loop or idle have you changed the fuel pressure as it will alter the afr with big injectors. now I have aem v1 and id1000's cold idle is in the 12.5 afr range but once warmed up 13.9-14.7 depending on coolant temp above 185f it idle 13.9 to help cool the motor I also run lean at part throttle 15.5-16.5 under low load light throttle and below 4000rpm. I ask about the fpr because the car I have had the comptech rrfpr with the aem and id's. I installed an aeromotive fpr and 340 fuel pump and that was were my car was running before I had it retuned and I had my old emanage and rc650 injectors installed for a short time and that setup ran stok 14.7 so the aem is sensitive hope you get it sorted
DW's are hit or miss when you start getting to that size and larger for a decent, stoich idle. Who tuned the car?
To answer your last question, it definitely be worth getting it re-tuned by someone who knows what they're doing.

Get an oil analysis, and tell them about what you've found. Cheap $25. Southwest Research and Rock Valley Auto also offer similar reports but are much more detailed and costly. I work in the diesel industry where fuel oil dilution is a common problem, this is cheap insurance to figure out if you are actually diluting or not.
