Thumbs down Finally happend, something BLEW :(

well, I went into the store for 5 minutes came out started the box up and a ton of WHITE SMOKE started to billowing out the back, after 1 minute it stopped smoking, just got back o my buddies house going to check it out

I think its the turbo, mabe the seal cooled down enough when I went into the store, then when I started it up OIL passed through the seal then after 1 minute of being on, its heated up and sealed??????????

Drive back 5 miles no smoke at all, I will go investigate, either way not good

Blown Headgasket=White smoke?
Blown Turbo= White or Blueish Black smoke?

15,000miles o the turbo, everyone one said it would happen, oh well

KRAFTWERKS FTW

Ill be back, going to try and diagnos

I would have to guess it is the turbo...

I did say a few days ago these little turbos would only last 10-15k on stock compression

did it look like this? just curious, how's your coolant level?

Joey, call greddy and see what they say...

Also, you could always upgrade your turbo now to a internally wastegated gt30 without too much modification...

Could help; or let it cool down for 30 seconds.

Also, make sure you run a full synthetic oil; I'm sure Mobil 1 isn't one. Full syns will reduce coking but in the end these turbos won't last long on stock compression.
