Default Finally tuned and on the road!

Hi All

Finally had my S tuned today, i went there hoping for the low 300's, even my tuner said before the car went on the dyno i should be looking at 310-320 at the fly ( remember our dynos seem to read lower here in the UK).

I was pleasantly surprised with these results once she was fully mapped! Just out of interest, does the TQ look pretty high for 8psi? i was only expecting around 210-220lbft.

Here is my current setup...

SOS STAGE 2
NOVIE 1200
id1000'S
WALBRO FUEL PUMP
UPGRADED HEAT EXCHANGER
FULL 3" SINGLE EXHAUST.
AEM EMS V2
4.4" PULLEY (8-9PSI).

Let me know what you think...

Heres a pic before the tune, as well as a short vid. Sorry about the quality, really doesn't do the sound of the car any justice!

I haven't had a chance to see what it's made of yet! As expected it's raining here in the UK and the car just spins haha!
Should be dry tomorrow though, i cannot wait !

Sounds awesome! Torque does seem a little high (for 8psi).

Damn, those are impressive numbers for 8-9 PSI on a Dyno Dynamics!!!

Raining? In the UK? Noooooo...

Cheers guys!

All was going so well until this morning
On the way to work and the clutch started playing up, i had a bit of difficulty putting it into 4th, as i came out of 4th the pedal went slightly slack and after pulling over the car would only go in gear with the engine off.
Once the car is running it will not go into any gear.
I am running a brand new stage 2 competition clutch, im hoping it's something simple like the master cylinder or an airlock.
I'm sure if it was the throw out bearing it would of made a loud noise?

any one have any ideas what this could be? either way the clutch should be under warranty, but it's just a complete pain in the ass! Especially as raining england is now perfect SUNSHINE !

cheers

try deburring it. with the car off just put it in every gear 4 million times. after i put my clutch in i ran into that same problem. after i deburred it, all problems magically solved. havent had a problem since.

thanks mate, i will give that a go, looks like it could be the Master cylinder.
When pressure is applied to it the car goes into all gears,
just need to find myself a second hand one rather than having to go directly to honda!

Cheers

Was there still fluid in the master reservoir? I would recommend pulling the slave off and checking out everything to do with it first. The slave is removed for the clutch swap. The master isn't. Seems like if something got pooched during the clutch install it would have been the slave, not the master.

Yeah he re checked the slave an all seemed fine with that, after applying pressure to MC the car goes into gear, as soon as it's released the problem reoccurs,

Just need to try and find my self a second hand one now, do you know if it's possible to rebuild them? The seal is only £4 from my local dealer...

cheers
