Default Which fire extinguisher ?

Sorry guys know it's been covered.

Need a fire extinguisher.

Don't need anything special but something that will save my car.

Honestly just plan on having it on my floor board on passenger side.

Thanks I'm advance.

I would recommend against halon due to its far decreased fire extinguishing capabilities compared to dry chemical. Dry chem extinguishers will leave a mess but they get the job done better/quicker than the same size halon extinguisher. I would much rather give myself the best chance at putting out the fire and deal with the cleanup later.

Smaller sizes will mount in the passenger floor board, larger size should fit in the trunk.

You may be able to find a local dealer, the one near me is a truck and ATV shop. That will help you to avoid the nasty "hazardous item" shipping fee that most places charge to ship these things.

NP, here's a pic of the 250 size mounted in the passenger footwell:

And here is a good thread from a few months back on the topic as well. Shows some more options and pictures as well as some info I posted on the Halon vs. Dry Chem topic and some good "OMG" pictures of a burned S2000. https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/102...for-the-worst/
