Default First 1320 run

Hey everyone, i just picked up my car from Inline Pro last friday. I love it. I have it down in FL right now and i went to the track tonight. I was to scared to launch so i came off the line normal and half throttled 1st and spun a good amount of second. The best time i could pull of was a 12.80 @ 114.8 I know this is pretty slow for my setup. I dyno'd 505 whp and 295 tq @ 20 psi w/ the 3mm head gasket. I am still on street tires, i am running Nitto 555. It is 75 degrees outside and humid as hell! The track is 23ft above sea level. Can you launch at all on the stock diff? Or will it break fairly easy, this is my daily driver and i didnt want to find out the hard way. All comments are welcome, just wanted to share with you all.

Launching on the stock diff is not advisable.

it should be trapping much higher than 115 mph if you're putting down 500 whp. Might want to look over and see whats going on.

9/10 people can't achieve what their cars *should* do.

Practice, practice, practice. Although on stock diff, I'd be careful. I'm hoping I can hit 11's on street tires this summer now that I have the right supporting mods for the 500+ rwhp club.

yeah that's what i was thinking. The only reason why i could think it is running slower than i expected is b/c of the weather but i still thought i would trap higher. What should i look over?

Well i know i need tires pretty bad, but wouldnt i still pull i higher trap time than what i did. I was expecting to be a solid 11 not a run a 12.8x @ 113 or 114, 9 times in a row (literally).

Yeah somethings up. You should be trapping well over 125mph. Elevation is good at only 23 ft above seal level. Humidity can hurt but not that much. And even spinning your ass off you should still trap good. Traction will help your et more than anything. Somehow I don't think you're putting the power to the ground. Clutch holding up fine?

As long as you can get the tires spinning on the launch you should be able to get some passes in without breaking anything. But if you don't want to risk it at all don't take the chance.

time is more correlated with traction rather then power and the opposite applies to trap speed.

However, traction effects both time and speed.
