Default First Boosted Dyno Run

My goals were just to achieve around 300hp, nothing too exciting (I just noticed the 900hp thread, wow )

It's basically the THE BEST Greddy kit. I dropped the Emanage for an AEM EMS, upgraded the Injectors to RC750s and I'm running E85 at 11psi. Looks good I think, but I'm really no expert, so no flaming please, but I'm always down for any helpful comments or suggestions.

That is not bad for a GReddy kit. Congratulations on the boost! You will never get rid of the itch now, this is just the beginning!

Congrats. Personally I would get retuned on pumP 93. That turbo can't boost enough to warrant e85 IMHO.

Otherwise. Great powerband. Hopefully u never want more power.

Also, that's on a DynoDynamics dyno, so if you wanted to "compare" (even though you can't due to many reasons yada yada) you would have gotten around 330whp+ on a dynojet. I think to get more, you need flow upgrades rather than more boost as your boost is high enough to hit 400, but torque starts dropping as flow restrictions present themselves.

Bet your car feels fast. I make the same power on a Mustang (also reads lower like a DD) supercharged at 5psi but I don't make it for nearly as long or as soon as you do

He's not using E85 to allow more boost but to add more timing. Great looking power band for the Greddy kit btw. If I were you I would try to up the boost more sense your using E85. I was boosting 12 psi on my Greddy kit and had like 250 torque at like 3000-4000 rpm.

Why? He is likely making significantly more power than he would be making running this boost on 93.

I think Harvey at The Boost Creep properly sets something at 15% to get actuals. I'm not sure though so I'm thinking about finding another dyno just to test on. I have a PFab Manifold Exhaust (I think exahaust) and a Berk 70mm HFC to the stock Exhaust. I'm also looking at getting the Fujitsubo Legalis R Dual Exhaust (I believe it's also 70mm). I really don't want something that is too loud, but I think it would open up the exhaust more. I'm not sure what else I could do at this point, although I'm really happy with it, but any suggestions are definitely welcome.

We were having some issues with Vtec dropping lots of torque and hp when engaged (anywhere under 7200), so it doesn't engage until 7500rpm, but doesn't disengage until 6200 so after 1st I have Vtec during WOT though all the gears. When it engages, the AF had to be changed to be more lean due to whatever Vtec does to use less fuel for more HP (Honda Magic I read some where on this forum).

I really enjoy getting dumped back into the seat very quickly and it just doesn't seem to let up. I'm never letting this car go. Need some Wheels & Tires for track fun soon!

Thanks for the all posts!

Do you have an AP1 or AP2? I just got AP2 rims for mine, as the 8.5" wheel can mount wider tires. The 225s on the 7.5" AP1 rims just don't hold well.

I have a 2002 AP1 with stock wheels (16") with TERRIBLE tires (bad and old).

Thats funny, I just sent Jim (Tire Rack) a message about getting 17" PF01 (8SS & 9SS). I can easly spin the wheels in first AND second gear, which is really bad and fun.
