Angry first time spooling turbo

I finished hooking up my turbo today. I am running a tial 44mm wastegate greaddy bov and a bb turbo. I have no map sensor as I have read that the stock map can hold 10psi. my problem Is that I cant get the car to boost at all with out It braking up even on 1 pund of boost. It throws a code saying somthing about vtec and Intake flow. In all It had about three codes. I can clear them out and as long as I shift at 3 thousand rpm It will not throw any codes. There was never a problem with this stuff stock. Do you guys have any suggestions or answeres on why I cant boost?
