Default fluctuating rpm

what's up guys. sometimes while the car is in neutral and without touching the gas, the rpm fluctuates between 1000rpm and 1500rmp. Does anyone have any ideas what is causing it? thanks.

You may want to post up some of your mods and other things that may be relevant. Its generally sensor related when fluctuations occur.

I just had the greddy kit installed and tuned about a month ago and the fluctuating just start recently. it's really random, it doesn't happen all the time and it occurs more often during cold mornings.

DId you have it tuned at Church Automotive?? Problems start to occur if your boosted and have it tuned by them. Idle seem's too high and car smells rich with fuel

It was tuned by jesus at HB speed. It tends to fluctuate when the car is cold and stop after about 20 mins of driving.

ehh it shouldn't be doing that. on a cold start it should be at about 2500rpms strong then slowly make its way down to 800rpm idle. Go get it re-tuned at Autowave and you will never regret it :-)

You could have a vacuum leak somewhere or a faulty IAC valve.

Possible TPS sensor issue, maybe moisture getting in there touching the contacts, when it gets warmed up it dries out, I had simaliar issues, but it was the METHANOL, also it very well may be a dirty IACV

What engine management are you using?
He didn't say it but I bet it is the emanage ultimate since he has the greddy kit.
