As long as you run the hoses as short as possible and without kinks the aftercooler will do it's job correctly. All it is.....is essentialy a bigger aftercooler that is positioned in the center of the bumper for asthetics.

I'm not a hp number nazi, so I went with the "look" that I wanted and the BOV for the sound that I wanted. To me... the difference between 85hp and 90hp gain w/or w/out the FMAC was nominal.

Go with what you want.

yeh i appreciate your input, i wasnt going for like big huge pipes i want to keep it nice and tight and clean. i just wanted to make sure if i did it i wouldnt lose power.
you have any pictures of your setup?

No it's not. An aftercooler is an air-to-water system, a FMIC is air-to-air.

Actually it's more than that.

I'm answering the OP's question. I'm assuming that he is talking about the "FRONT MOUNT" aftercooler that some people were running on their S/C setups.

I know what an INTERCOOLER does.

My front mount is the Aftercooler upgrade.
Erik's is an Intercooler.
