The only problem with going Cosworth is that when it goes you won't know whether to blame the head gasket or the ARP studs.

Then after several trials and errors, you'll discover the problem was tuning. Meanwhile, people have read your threads and now use them as supporting evidence that Cosworth head gaskets/ARP studs are bad.

i am really leaning towards the Cosworth gasket. This car is going to see a lot heavy track time. I am using ARP head bolts by the way. ACL race bearings all round too.
i don't understand why you are opposed to the oem HG? it's $50 from majestic if i remember correctly, and it works, works very well at that. it has been proven time and time again to make as much whp as you want, and it has also been proven to hold more power than you want without a single problem.

go with the oem, save a few bucks and MAKE SURE you go to a good tuner and have him perfect the tune.

also go with a high quality brand new injector such as the Injector dynamics to eliminate the possibility of failure or mismatched flow.

^^Yeah, this is a no brainer I feel.

I've never had one head gasket related issue on my stock HG and I think I push my car pretty hard.

The Engine will most likely have 725cc or 1000cc ID injectors and tuned by T1.

If its a built motor with OEM bore size, go with an OEM gasket.

There is no need for an aftermarket one.
