Default Found the limits of the stock clutch

So my stock clutch was good until about 350whp and then started slipping on the dyno. I know that the ACT pressure plate and stock disk seem to be quite popular on here but will it hold in the 350+ range?

I have been looking at the Exedy hyper single and Clutch Master stg 3 segmented kevlar clutch with a Spoon flywheel as alternatives. I had the CM before and I really liked it, just not sure it is up to the task.

What are the 350+ whp guys and gals running? I want something that will hold the power and do not mind a bit harsher engagement. I would also like to stay below $2000 are there any other options?

Thanks!

I'll soon be past the 350 mark and I'm running the HTG package. I know a fella running 450 plus and another at 370 using this same package

I had 320 whp and was runing with the stock clutch without problems. Since I have a stock differential, I prefer a slippry clutch than a broken diff.

If you go with a stongre clucth remember that your next weak point is the diff.

I was looking at that one as well. Looks just like the Clutchmasters. Are you running it? How much WHP?

Not to worried about breaking stuff, I don't really launch the car and I run ~3.5psi daily. Just need it for the "just in case" scenario. You never know when you will run into a fast car that is begging for a whooping

Spec Stage 3 clutch is awesome. It will hold at least 400 lbft of tq but they claim 492. $577 at MVPmotorsports.com
