Yep checked all plugs but will do so again.. Also lost a cam sensor so got a 2nd hand one that I need to check.

Also power probed the B1&2 ports to confirm that it was getting power and earth, which it was.. Then power probed the coil pack wires which again were working.. In the end we whipped off a battery from a friend's Civic and POW straight in to the AEM and the thing fired up on the button..!
Weird.. Almost like it had enough power to prime the fuel pump but not talk to the laptop..? Still not 100% on what happened.
Anyway the car ran like a pig on the previous mapp, trying to idle on like a 10 AFR... Spent some time trying to rein it in with deceasing the fuel by 0.1 increments but this had drastic changes on the AFR and sometimes a reduction in 0.1 fuel would result in a rich to lean swing of approx 4/5 AFR!!
After a few hours of playing with it, I managed to get it drivable enough for us to put some test miles on the motor..
Before we took it out we had a quick wheel alignment and raised the front up by 20mm..
After approx 70 miles last night, all levels have remained spot on, turbo sounds like a jumbo jet.. Will put another 100 or so on it this week and then do the 1st oil change.
Mapp is very conservative with allot of the timing removed, rev fuel cut set to 4250.
Car is ruining boost off gate spring and making 6psi at 3900rpm which is just about what I wanted for run in miles.
Next few day's will be very important.. Watch this space!

Parked up checking levels after a few miles:

Mani already changing colour after a couple of heat cycles:

Since my last update I have had the car mapped :-)
I completed 600 miles for break in and now on the 4th oil change. Everything is looking healthy with the motor so far
Even though everything was looking fine I decided to take the car down on the trailer to see Romain (My tuner) yesterday.
Picked it up from my detailer @ 7:30 am yesterday after he worked throughout the night on Monday doing paint correction and G techniq paint, wheels, glass and exhaust seal ahead of the photoshoot today.

Even after a 60 miles on the trailer it was looking pretty gleaming I think you'll agree

Before we started I was going to swap my 6 PSI spring out for 1 Bar (14PSI) spring.. However he talked me out of it as the least amount of boost I would be able to run would be 1 bar in 1st and 2nd gear off the gate pressure.
He seemed confident he'd make good power off the spring that was in there so I put my faith in him..
Got the car on the new Dyno set up (flat entry ramps are the tits) and let handed over the keys for Romain to do his thing..

He started out mapping it off the gate pressure and it made 320 @ PSI..
Then we turned up the boost..
Final numbers were 485 @ 17PSI (1.2 bar).

He said that he could of gone further but the car was wheel spinning on the dyno which meant he wasn't able to read what was happening with the car and therefore made it dangerous to continue.
As requested he mapped boost by gear which was set up:
1st - 6PSI
2nd - 8PSI
3rd - 12PSI
4tt - 17PSI
5th - 17PSI
6th - 17PSI
Here are a couple of videos on the Dyno, shows just how stiff the new Vibratechnics engine mounts are, the engine barely moves!

Over all a fantastic day! Romain was a gent throughout and was obviously a smart cookie which helps when you hand over your keys to your pride and joy!
I spent last night having some fun and calibrating my Ipad display to show all the Oil temps, pressure, ECT, IAT Boost etc
Here is a little bypass rip:

Since then I have upped the boost in 2nd and 3rd to full boost as the tyres (255 yokohama ad08r) seem to put if down nicely.

Today I took the car to Rockingham for the Japanese Performance Magazine S2000 15yr Anniversary feature shoot! :-)
Had some static shots in the pits which was OK but the highlight of the day was at the end being let loose on track. Me and Rich (TTS performance) had a good chase around the track. We were told to keep it under 70MPH but the temptation was too great ;-) A few 4th gear pulls had to be done, which in turn drew attention to us as my Screamer pipe is way over 100db..
Not sure when the Mag will be out but will keep you posted.. Super fun day and I was so happy with how well the engine performed and managed the heat under the abuse.. As for the brakes and handling that's a different story.. I'm in need of some Geo ASAP as the car rear end feels very light over 110, also pulling to one side under heavy braking.
Here are a few snaps I took whilst in the lanes.
