Very interesting, I hope I don't get bored too fast, haha. The CARB EO letter dictates the pulley size although it'll be up to the smog station whether they know (or care enough) to measure the diameter. It's certainly something I'll be discussing with my tuning shop (Blacktrax Performance) when I take my car in.

look into a larger crank pulley. I’m running the 9 psi charger pulley with a CT supplied bigger crank one. Added 1.5 psi and you absolutely cannot see it. I made 360whp on the Blacktrax dyno. Your setup is a mirror of mine. SOS hx and the act setup. Not a single issue ever.

I've been doing some more research and you've sold me on the ACT pressure plate/OE disk combo. I'll likely go with an AP1 flywheel and slave cylinder at the same time; not sold on the flywheel just yet.

I'm definitely coming around to retaining the SOS Racing heat exchanger along with an oil cooler in some form. I came across a custom ducted oil cooler setup below the passenger headlight which looks interesting. Risk will be ensuring adequate airflow, but this seems possible through the OE AP2 bumper duct and wheel well venting. I'm looking around to see if anyone has tested this setup (probably a stretch haha).

@Kyle, thanks for the radiator comments! As I'm looking into dual pass options, Mr Sideways x SBG is also interesting. I still need to do some more research but there seems to be lots of positive feedback for the Mr Sideways option, although it's obviously a bit more expensive. I also have the benefit of living near SBG which saves on shipping, etc. In fact they corner balanced my car after I installed my Ohlins FPspec suspension.

Also appreciate the power comments, haha. Living in CA is obviously limiting but I can't wait to see where this build takes me.
I personally have the Mr. Sideways x SBG radiator; just bought it this past summer. It's a beautiful piece and an absolute monster of a radiator. Lots of people have gotten excellent results in keeping their cars cool in even the harshest of conditions and abuse on the track. Only real reason I didn't mention it is it's quite expensive, and the RSG CSF should be nearly as good. Wasn't sure what kind of budget you were working with so I figured I'd recommend the more modest option first; going from a Koyo pricetag to a Mr. Sideways is a BIG jump.....

Wow, somehow I missed this - great information! I’ll definitely look into that setup.

Understood, makes sense. I’m still chatting with SBG but I’m leaning towards the Mr Sideways kit for the one/done approach.

I just took a look at one of my client's Turbo S2K log:

- 2 short WOT pulls show 217- 221F
- City cruising shows 210-230F
- Semi-cold start and onto steady freeway showed steady 215F

With a SC and low boost you might be cooler but I would definitely get an oil cooler on this car if you're going to track it boosted, like definitely get one.

Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback on my setup, this forum never disappoints!

Thought I would provide an update since it's been a while. I opted for the following:

-ACT HD PP + OE clutch disk/new AP1 flywheel (installed).
-SBG Mr Sideways radiator/fan combo (installed)
-SBG 19 row Setrab oil cooler kit
-SOS racing heat exchanger/bosch cobra pump
-Ballade CR-style bumper with integral brake ducts

Lead times have been crazy with COVID, but I finally have everything in house - it's time to enter the final phase of the supercharger installation. The plan is to install the oil cooler kit under the passenger headlight with ducting from the Ballade brake duct to feed the cooler. Haven't worked out the mods to my passenger fender liner, should be easy to add slots as needed.

Still undecided on the larger crank pulley. I'm leaning towards keeping the kit stock, but with the supporting mods + the custom Blacktrax tune it's certainly tempting to push things a little further.

One question, I'd like to get the group's feedback on the tuning strategy to limp my car to Blacktrax for dyno tuning. I'm installing everything myself and have a ~30 mile drive to get there. I've considered an etune but would rather not "waste" the money when I'd be throwing it away after the custom tune. Curious what you guys have done in the past?

Run a base map for a stock s2000 and swap in the injectors, 3-4 bar map sensor & put the belt on at the tuners

I uploaded a Hondata base tune for the injectors that I had and drove it there, being sure to stay out of boost. No issues.
