Default fuel consumption

I'm just checking to see how all of you FI'd guys have been doing with your fuel consumption? I used to get roughly 400-450 kms per tank, but now I HIGHLY doubt I'll get even close to that!

I have 630 injectors and am running 7-8psi on a t3/t4 60 trim.

Can you guys chime in with your fuel setups and how much you're getting per tank?

I want to if it's worth being turbo'd!

cheers.

If it's tuned for mpg's you will do better, however you get into boost even once and that is out the door.

this type of info can be misleading.

crusing on the highway your mileage, if tuned properly should be near if not the same as NA.

i just drove 2200 miles roundtrip to the dragon. on the highway to and from the dragon i got 25-28mpg.

on the dragon, i got 12.

in city driving around town i get 15-18.

its your driving style, assuming the tune is correct in part throttle, that will determine your mpg.

if you dip into the throttle and go into boost, you will consume more fuel.

hope that helps.

On the way to the dragon 280 - 300 miles per fill up .. Cruising
At the dragon 180 miles per fill up .. Boosting

I do alot of hiway driving i drive about 120 miles a day. I fill up every other day. SO like 240 miles per fill up. Approx 20-24 MPG on hiway.

When i "drive" around town less than 200 miles. So 16-19 MPG

Superchargers have to power the blower whether you use the boost or not, so I dont see much better mileage on the freeway over city driving. Its better, but not by much and no where near my NA mileage.

I think I get 19-20 mpg city, 22-23 highway.

thats interesting scrapdog,

i also have the KW supercharger and i saw improved MPG highway with the blower due to the efficency of the Rotrex s/c

I went from 27-28mpg to about 28-33 highway.

around town my milage dropped by 1 mpg from 22-23mpg down to about 22-21mpg

WOT driving through the mountains i'll see 16-18mpg.

i'll also note that now that i installed my 4.57 gears i saw a reduction in milage around town to about 20mpg. but my highway milage (28-33mpg) is about the same assuming i am not going 20 over haha.

i get better fuel milege on highway after SC'ed ..
in city it all depends ur driving style, i can get 10 mpg or 20 mpg...
but mostly i shift around 3k rpm so i still get better miles than b4 when i was n/a.

Since my last tune my mpg has improved drastically, I used to get 17mpg highway w/ no bosting.

Now I'm getting 19-20mpg with w/ a lot of boosting.. Im sure I could get close to 300 miles on a tank if I stayed below 0psi , but what fun would that be ?
