Fuel Filter Comptech SC
I have the Comptech SC with aftercooler. It has the little red FPR.
My questions are:
1. Where is the fuel filter (is it still in the trunkspace over the gas tank).
2. Can I replace the fuel pump with a standard Walbro 255lph pretty easily? Estimated wrenching time to replace one? I have to fish out the original directions as Comptech's website no worky.

People are having fuel starvation issues maybe related to the fuel filter and baffle itself.

You can use the walbro , its what i have in mine. 2NRwerks did mine, but they said they had to drop the tank to get to it so beats me how that part works.
Im also Guinea pigging the AEM FIC for our car so ill hook ya up on some updates with that if youre interested.

the comptech kit comes with the Walbro, so i'm sure that you should have been running one to begin with...
it should take you about 45-60 minutes your first time. you basically take off the rear tray, unscrew the cap on top of the fuel tank, disconnect some tubes, remove 8 bolts that hold in the fuel pump assembly, then lift it out. then it's pretty much common sense as to how to get out the actual pump and replace it. i think the instructions say something about doing something with the fuel pulsation something in the engine bay so that fuel doesn't spray everywhere. but you will get fuel all over the place regardless since the assembly is submerged in it.

I already sprayed myself with gas when I changed my injectors... and conveniently cut an O-ring on the reinstallation... the wife loved that one.
I know the Comptech kit comes with a Walbro. But I think it may be dying. It stumbles on hard corners.
It sounds like the problem that w1ngman describes below:
