Fuel Injector install problem
Hey Guys,
My car is at the shop now getting new injectors along with tune and smaller pulley when my mechanic calls me and says that he can't get the injectors in right. He says that the clearance where the injector snaps into the manifold has only about an 1/8" of clearance (as opposed to a usual 3/8 or so he says) and he's afraid it won't be secure in place. He's used tons of RC injectors and says that he hasn't seen anything like it.
Do you guys think this is normal? They are model SL4-650 injectors like here:

I don't think I need an aftermarket fuel rail or anything.
Any help would be awesome, thanks!
Nate
