Comptech calibrates their FMU to 46-50psi of static Fuel Pressure. And I believe static fuel pressure stock is 47-54psi. an 30-34PSI @ 20 in. vacuum.

so I would figure no matter what the FMU is set at you still should see 47-54 right? Mine is reading alittle lower then that at idle say 40ish.

I actually just edited my post. I was looking at the calibration for Universal FPR. To check static fuel pressure, you want to remove the vacuum line to the FPR, and block the nipple on the intake manifold with your finger, that will give you static fuel pressure. Also make sure to get a wideband on it to make sure you're running correct A/F ratios, with mine set at 54psi static pressure, it was running dangerously lean.

well the kit was installed by inline pro so I am sure they set it up right it's just I have a front mount with a 10psi pully trying to get somewhere near 7psi but am at 6ish more so 5 1/2. I have herd of people adjusting the FMU but what the hell are they adjusting to? I don't beat the hell out of this car nor do I drive it every day so I am just playing with it now. Thinking of just getting a damn AEM EMS and having it tuned but didn't want to spend the money lol

I thought the FMU on those Comptech kits was rising rate?

The Comptech FMU is a rising rate regulator. But static fuel pressure determines where fuel pressure starts to rise from. I've been fighting with this stupid FMU for the past few weeks, as soon as I have the money, I'll be making the Jump to AEM and larger injectors

I know what static pressure is. I guess I didn't assume we were talking about the pressure at an idle?

The moment the SC starts to show boost in the intake manifold that pressure goes up accordingly to the rate of that FMU. I don't remember if Comptech's is 8:1 or 12:1.

I'm running 7psi with my CTSC and haven't had one iota of trouble with their FPR.

ahh. yeah, my initial post looks screwy, my bad.

I can't seem to get enough fuel, even with the FMU cranked all the way in and living 5000ft above sea level. It should be running pig rich, but it's not.
