ok, but my a/f ratio gauge doesn't indicate that i am lean....always stay in rich part of the gauge even at 8psi...

why i should have a fuel pump if the OEM is ok??

If you're reading A/F ratio off the O2 sensor you may not be getting the whole picture. The stock O2 sensors bottom out (they're only designed to read a certain voltage range). You need wideband to truely know your A/F ratio picture.

The way you should look at it with FI is.. The more prepared the better. You may not NEED the extra flow of fuel from the pump at your current boost level, but why strain the oem pump to where it could cause failure. Might as well upgrade it to avoid a pesky problem that you will have to troubleshoot down the road..

100 dollars and a few hours to pull the tray and you have a bulletproof fuel system. I don't see why you wouldn't do it...
