Default Fuel Pump Voltage Boost

Does anyone know a good place to buy a DC to DC Converter to step up the fuel pump voltage to 18V. I was hoping that I would not have to pay for the Kenne Bell unit as I am not interested in running the pump dependent on boost. I am sure if you get rid of the pressure sensor and all the other crap I don’t need I can find a better cost and fit.

The link I posted is for a 12V-16V converter but I would really prefer 18V if anyone knows where to find one.

do you already have your fuel pump ran straight to the battery?

you can just run a relay and a positive feed straight from the battery.

Why not run an a bigger gauge wire directly off the battery. You'll pickup some voltage that way.

Interesting. Running motors on these voids the warranty.

Im getting ready to hook up a relay and 10 ga wire to directly run my pump off the battery. Does anyone know which stock wire you splice into at the pump? Do you just completely disconnect/cut the stock wire from the pump and wire up the new 10 ga wire or do you leave the stock wire connected and just splice the 10 ga wire to it?

Run a direct power lead from the battery to a relay near the pump. Wire from the relay to the pump and use the old stock fuel pump wire to turn the relay on an off.
