Default Fuel pumps - what works?

how much can a 255hp support? hp, injector size & duty rate - at what boost?
please post your experience only.

what is the option to go beyond the abilities of the 255hp?

boostapumps? - or voltage increasers do they work?

what would be the limit of the stock fule lines?

why I ask this? had a car tonight on dyno max out fuel pump on top end. and this is the mildest of several builds we have right now.

was that the 255lph that maxed out? You could raise the fuel pressure w/ an adjustable fpr from AEM. boostapumps work but for that much money you could look into using twin walbros like Peter@ISP or the Aeromotive external pumps. those are very nice!

not sure if it was a 255hp - i know it was a 255 - going to pull and replace pump with a new 255hp and do a 10 gauge power wire upgrade to it to prevent voltage loss. if that does not work then a boostapump.

twin pumps like peter is doing is really good but if your going to do a extrenal pump go with a welden..they are loud but work really well

Just to clarify, it's not 255hp it's 255lph.

I'm running 400hp right now, and will be at 500 after I fix my headgasket and retune. I'm running a single Walbro 255 with AEM 1:1 FPR, 1000cc injectors, and an EMS to control.
