I was just wondering 'cause Pang is fab'ing a downpipe for a twin scroll setup. My only concern was going open vs closed loop and the noise vs hp loss. I'm only using a gt3071r so I'm trying to wring the widest power band I can out of it and still hit 370ish whp.

you definitely want a open dump tube, the sound from it is amazing. My car sounds like a stock s2k when cruising around but when I floor it and the boost builds you can hear that glorious sound. Its loud but not as loud as say a FC with a dumptube.

I disagree, I want to get my dump tube welded up, it's a cop magnet and not a huge help with horsepower... I'm excited to see how it sounds dumping out my invidia cans with all the other exhaust

Although you said no youtube, here are some of my videos anyway

This is with a 38mm wastegate (much more high pitched then my now 44mm wastegate).

Going through the gears, again you can hear the wastegate more then anything
