thanks for the input guys

the shop im thinking about is a good shop but they mostly work w/ eg's and k-series motor.

i thought i could attempt the install myself so atleast i can feel like i accomplished something.

how about i install everthing but the electric work cuz i dont feel comfortable??

Does the kit come with a nice set of instructions? Or has there been a write up on S2ki (sorry didn't bother searching)? I installed my CTSC myself and a friend help me during the harder parts (removing crank pulley). But I'm glad I did. I installed it over 2 weekends. I have another car so down time wasn't an issue. Took my time and learned a lot about the car. I enjoyed the experience too.

They are power coated black and they are aluminum
And they offer a 150.00 V-band upgrade option which i will be ordering, what sucks is that you have to also buy another down pipe to make this work (599.00) Or have your machine shop make you one

yea when i ordered the kit they said the v band wasnt available, which is complete bs, so they charge you for another dp, thats just gay, if you can get the v band, do it, so much eaiser

I know when i ordered my kit spring of last year they didnt offer this even tho i asked for a special order they said they just dont do it
I agree with passmans2kny do yourself a favor and ORDER THE UPGRADE you will regret it if you don't.
BTW pass how's your install coming along?
When are you tuning it?
