Default Gauges

Ok I need a Boost gauge, A/F and maybe EGT. So I'm wondering if there is anyway to plug into the EMS to read some of these or to have a couple of gauges in one. I really hate to have a ton of gauges on my car. what are some of my options?

I plan to get Boost, A/F Ratio in their DM-100 OLED guage. Supposedly it can display up to 32 sensor in one guage and can display 4 independent sources at once.

hehe, I'm almost finished with my gauges. I spent 450+ on two gauges from PLX. You'll love them, I'll post pics when I'm done.

btw, I purchased boost and A/F. You will be ok with no EGT, unless you push the car to the limits everyday of your life.

AEM makes a serial datastream gauge that can monitor up to 19 different inputs and directly connects to the EMS. It is designed to work with the EMS. It averages about 310 plus shipping for the unit unless you find it on ebay. I plan on using it to monitor AFR with the 1052U and then adding the AEM Truboost gauge to control boost.

AEM serial guage is a huge PIA.
AF is a must , of course boost (you want to see what you spent your money on), I would do water temp (loose it with aem, and the fix from modifry is to iffy), I would also do oil pressure.. now where to put them all

and we will have a 3 pillar pod out soon!

Why is the AEM datastream a PIA?

Good info everyone!

connecting to it via a serial port, getting it to take a program, then trying to figure out how to read the guage driving down the road - is not easy.

Zeitronix will display AFR, Boost and EGT on one readout. If you prefer rectangular to round. The screen is not actually green tinted, it still had the protective film on it when the picture was taken.
