Default Godzilla bov connected correctly? pics! help!

i just installed my godzilla bov today and it doesnt seem to be making a really strange blowoff noise. i removed the vacuum line from the bypass valve and put it on the godzilla bov. is this what i was supposed to do?

when the bov makes the noise, its like a prolonged pshh noise with a weird whistling kind of sound. doesnt sound like its working correctly. i've seen videos of other people's godzilla bov and its a clean quick pshhh sound. not like mine.

anyone know what the cause of this could be? thanks

you should entirely remove your bypass valve and bolt your bov directly to the opening on the AC. that should do the trick.

okay i'll try to completely remove the bypass valve tomorrow. how do i do that? i was trying to but just kinda gave up. you think the bypass valve would be giving me that whistle noise? i didnt think it would be related to the godzilla not making the right noise. hopefully it'll work that way though. the godzilla bov was already mounted to the ac

I've never actually really taken a close look at the bypass valve before. Although I would imagine its either a few bolts to remove it. Can you take a picture of how you have it connected so far? I cant really explain too much more besides saying that the godzilla should bolt up directly overtop of the opening on the AC.

i just took off the bypass valve today. you just pull it out of the hole. so far i just bolted the bov plate onto the AC and then attached the godzilla. then took the vacuum hose from the bypass valve and put that hose on the godzilla bov.

i think this should have been right

Which hole on the bov did you put the vacuum line? If its not that loosen the tension spring on the bov.

I don't know if it's a good idea to loosen the spring as it worked fine on my car. It may be that the lines are not connected correctly.
