godzilla/CTSC owners
i am having a second hand godzilla BOV sent to me - do i need to purchase a new flange to bolt this on with, or will it bolt directly to the comptech aftercooler without one?
i have never seen the underside of this BOV. can anybody supply a picture of the bottom of it? thanks :) |
it should bolt on...... i have one somewhere.. ordered for a customer that never bought it. but we have put several on and there was nothing we had to do to AC to make it work.

do i need a flange to bolt this on with, or do i just need the actual blow off valve?

Not the exactly pict you need but you can figure it out. The smaller piece laying flat on the bench with the 4 screws and the clamp screws directly to the a/c after you remove the piece that normally would take the hose directly to CT's bypass valve. It's square under there though you can't see it.

If you zoom in, you can see how it just bolts up to the original holes. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...6c8bc460fa.jpg All this (and more) came with the BOV when purchased new. Unless you get half a BOV, you should be fine. |
jano, thank you. now i have a clear idea in my head as to how it all works.
the seller showed me a picture of the round flange and i got confused, knowing that the aftercooler piece is square. now it makes much more sense! :) |
one more stupid question...
there are 2 spots for vac lines on this thing! which one do i go with? do i have to plug the other one? i had it working before, now its stuck closed again..... |
the kit had a godzilla BOV on it before. the previous owner just put the stock one back on it. should bolt up no problem. GL.

^^ yea thats the easy part. i got the thing on, i just have too many vacuum options! lol
