And you don't think an iridium NGK plug would have the same issues an an iridium Denso plug?
I think NGK's are better plugs, and I haven't heard of any iridium problems with the NGK's, but I have no personal experience with those plugs. Maybe somebody who does or has used them can chime in.

They are copper, his post is just written a little funny. He was told not to use iridiums, so he ordered 7173's, and now wants opinions on them... I think.
I must be confused...I thought the 7173s are iridium...which is why I was advised not to get them. I did a search on the Net and found that they have an iridium center core.

7173s are copper. They have a v-cut center electrode.

these are what we have found to work the best with force induction HONDAS not just s2000's.

We run this in our street car, that makes 500+rwhp.
can you elaborate on what the NGK 3330 are?
copper core? how many steps colder? any other info?

thanks

3330 are a normal copper plug with a plain center electrode.

Ah, I get your post now.

From what I gather the NGK BKR7E (6097) is a little newer than the NGK BCPR7ES (3330) and prettly close to the same thing. Several Supra and FI Honda owners who used the BCPR7ES reported a slightly smoother idle by switching to the BKR7E on other forums.

From a Supra forum, take what you wan't from it:

I don't think you can go wrong with either one. They are both NGK and NGK is the shit.
Ok...I proceeded with ordering 3330s.

And just for the hell of it I picked up the 6097's on my way home from work. Now we can post if either have problems.
