Going from Supercharger back to N/A questions
Ok, so im going to be removing my KW s/c kit on my 2007 S2K and going back to N/A for a little while. I would like to have Gernby shoot me another E-Tune like before but have a question about my fuel pump. Currently the car has a Deatschwerks 255lph fuel pump and i plan on keeping it installed. My question is, if i keep the upgraded fuel pump installed and revert back to stock injectors will the stock in-tank fuel regulator maintain Stock fuel pressure? Reason being, is Gernby needs stock fuel pressure to be able to E-tune my car. OR will i need someone to tune the car after i remove the kit to be able to drive the car around?
I searched online and it seems alot of people maintain the upgraded fuel pump installed with no issues when reverting back to N/A, but most threads refer to AP1 and/or a return fuel system set up. Which is not what i have.
Let me know what i need to do to be able to drive my car home after i have the s/c kit removed while maintaining a 255lph fuel pump.
Thanks

There will be no problem leaving in the 255 fuel pump. I have the same pump and ID1000 and I went back to NA when I blew my blower. I am running AEM V2. All I had to change was my VTEC setpoint. The tune didn't have to be changed. I don't know much about the etunes since I have a 2005
27 years ago we had our first baby and traded our 2 seat sports car (RX-7) for a four door family box then later a minivan.
But now that the kids have left home we are back to a 2 seat sports car (SC S2000). Life is good both ways.
Why does he need stock fuel pressure?
If the pressure is slightly higher (I'm not sure would be) it shouldn't matter much.
Just remove the SC kit and use the stock calibration, drive around and check your short term and long term fuel trims and if they max out your fpr can't keep up.
You still are not going to risk much except a bad mpg.

Maybe I'll do that. Just need to disable secondary O2 sensor to avoid the CEL with the TP remains installed. But Gernby asked me to make sure its stock fuel pressure.
In for more info on this.
Wouldn't the stock fpr just regulate a higher flow fuel pump down back to stock pressure.
A higher flow pump is only upgraded to keep that pressure consistent ie. Higher flowing injectors releasing that pressure faster?
See where I'm getting at?
