Default Going turbo - Gauge set up...

Ok, I was searching for everything I need to buy from clutch to oil relocation kits... Then I came to the gauges...

I searched on here and found that Fuel pressure, boost, and water are the most essential???

Another thing I found is that if you have AEM EMS you can run their wideband gauge (6 gauges in 1)...

I was wanting the defi gauges because they look sick but I would prefer to have only 2 in the pilar and maybe one elsewhere...

I need to know what all I need to buy for the gauge set up and if I can run the AEM gauge in conjuntion with the defi

Thanks.

From what I know, for the defi gauges, you will first of all need to get the control unit. Then you need the actual sensors, and obviously the gauges. These things should come with all the wiring you need.

As far as using the AEM gauge in addtion, well yes that shouldn't be a problem because the Defi gauges have thing to do with the EMS. They have their own sensor inputs and don't connect to the EMS at any point. The defi gauges and the AEM serial datastream gauge would pretty much be working separately...

For the water gauge, just run Modifry's temp gauge unit. Running no gauges is also an option.

I'm just running the 2 gauges in the pillar, AEM wibeband and the AEM serial gauge(19/1) off the AEM.

For turbo, you'll definatly need a boost gauge. More or less, everything else is just butter. Fuel pressure is good for tuning but after that, its more or less not important. Oil pressure is nice but honestly by the time the guage goes off, you would have already recieved damage.

Despite saying all that, I have Boost, fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, and EGT . I like to know whats going on regardless if it would really help real world.

If you're going to get the 6 in 1 wideband, my EMS 1012 would be perfect for you!!!

I think that Boost, A/F, and Oil pressure are the most important... everything else is nice, but you probably won't pay much attention to them.
