Default Going Turbo..upgrade the radiator?

So I'm under way with pulling the trigger on going turbo with my car. I've got a solid set up going Shooting for 500-600whp (I'll save the details for the build thread)
but was wondering if I should install an aftermarket radiator (Koyo, Mishimoto etc). Was hoping someone had any info, and not looking for the better be safe than sorry, this is not my first big horse power build, just my first on a Honda.

Thanks

I don't believe you have to, if you did do NOT go with the mishimoto. I've only heard of problems with them

Thanks for the input. I had a Mishimoto oil cooler on my 04 STi with no problems, but never ran one of there radiators.

I bought my car in November of last year and it had a Mishimoto already installed and I have had no issues with it at all. Not sure how long it has been on there, but from the looks of it, at least a couple of years.

You ever do a track day with it or just daily driving? I know of a few who do track days and they were just fine with stock radiator on around same temp day but when they put the mishimoto on they would overheat.

I have a Koyo and recently did a track day with no issues. If I were to do it all over again I would have gone with a dual pass. Pricey but it just makes sense.

For the street no, stock is fine. If you plan on tracking the car, then yes, however the radiator will be only one of many issues you will face lol Stick to the street.

I have had the Mishimoto, full blown and the mr sideways dual pass radiator with my turbo setups and the dual pass radiator with spal extremists performance fans do make a huge drop in water temps. I highly recommend the my sideways dual pass radiator. Don't waste your money on the Mishimoto/koyo/full blow style radiators. Either stay stock or just spent the money for the dual pass radiator.
