So its a cool crisp afternoon and i decided, HEY lets take the car out for a spin. I headed to East Rock Park with the nice cruvey roads.

Comming off the last big turn, I gave her 80% throttle . POP!! I lost boost, and heard a thump. I pulled over and lifted the hood. The HKS SSQ BOV was missing! lol I searched the engine bay and saw it sitting at the bottem of the car stuck between the plastic covers.

Anyway, I lost the O-ring that was sandwiched between the BOV and pipe, but i managed to find the C-clamp.
End of story, just thought it was funny to share..

 

On the dyno, pop goes my motor.

 

Oil line came loose after driving at high speed for about 2 hours. Would have been a simple tighten up but I decided to take off the fitting first and then retighten it.

Long story short, I stripped 3 fittings (special order so it took a while to get) because I was trying to put the fitting on backwards

What would have taken 5 minutes, took 2 weeks of downtime

 

That sucks, but at least it wasnt the motor going pop! I launched my car and blew the motor!

 

here's a good one. Got the car; running strong; pop goes my oil filter on the oil filter relocation... Then pop!! My engine goes knock and crack and anyother disgusting noise you could think off.

here's a good one... i get a seemingly 'safe' plug and play stock comptech supercharger with A/C and score a bore after 1 hour of driving!! yeah... that was fun!

someone didnt upgrade their crank case banjo bolts! Then there was the whole 50/50 thing. You have really been screwed hard, man!

Yeah, thats another thing to break and have oil leak everywhere though wont it? AT least I would now though
