Default Greddy kit

So I recently got a Greddy turbo kit.. Been planing on installing it very soon.. But there are a few parts it didn't come with. So I'm going to have to pick up injectors and a fuel pump.

Ap1 Greddy kit, haltec pro, aem gauges, 70mm invida test pipe 2 duel exhaust
Missing injectors, fuel pump, air diversion plate, mystic hoses and such.

Goals 300 to 350 whp street reliable

Questions,
Since I don't have the rc 550 injectors should I purchase them or go with something better such as Id1000s
Should I rebuild my motor first it has 112k if so what head gaskit should I use
My cast manifold was cracked down the middle and re welded should I buy a new one or should it hold up?
I also was trying to find rebuild kits for the turbo and can't lol

Parts list
Walbro255lph
Injectors ( rc550 or id1000 )
Rebuild kit

Any other experience or help.. Also any good tuners for haltec around Orange County ny?

A Walbro 255lph fuel pump will be more than enough for you.
The injectors, is really up to you, if you plan to get another kit to make more power you could get bigger injectors, I'd say go for somewhere around the 700 range, I'm using 750cc and making 415whp.
In my opinion, one of the most important factors in reliable power would be the tune. I'd say go for a AEM or KPro EMS, only because I have no idea what a Haltec Pro is, stand alone is the way to go though.
If you want to know the condition of your motor, get a leak down and compression test done on your car and make your decision based off those results.
As for the manifold, I hear the Greddy's are known for cracking. If it was welded up by a reputable company I'm sure it'll be fine until it cracks again. LOL.
I think PFab makes a replacement Greddy manifold that is better.
Good luck.

If you stick with the greddy kit just get like rc650cc Injectors. Can be found for under $200 used. keep stock head gasket.

use OEM head gasket. 750cc should be good but i'd go with ID as they are generally better quality. some people have problems with RC... but some dont. but with RC750 you should be fine.

the motor is probably fine..do a leakdown and compression just in case tho.

You'd be lucky to get 300whp on a dynojet out of just bolting on a greddy kit without other supporting mods i think though.

i'd say use the welded manifold till it cracks again. can try coating it and heat wrapping it as well.

Yeah I think I'm defiantly going with Id over rc just depends how big I go..

And the haltec pro is a standalone ecu like the aem but its like 400$ more expensive lol not sure what ones better but since I allready have one ill use it

And I'm going to look into the manifolds.. Is there any other good upgrades to do to this kit? B4 like new turbo?..

I'm defiantly getting it tuned.. By either Jeff evens, xenocron, efi, turbo trix, someone around upstate

Still thinking either to just tap the oil pan or to use the oil filter relocation kit, heard they leak,.

Also should I get a oil catch can, oil cooler, meth kit, any good upgrades?

Oil filter relocation kits don't necessarily leak if they're installed correctly. I've never had one leak on me.

There was an older thread here where someone mentioned a tubular manifold upgrade for the greddy. I'd try that if I had to replace the stock cast unit.

Haltec is a good stand alone, just not popular with the s2000 crowd. Make sure you can control the evap purge system. Else, at some point you'll find yourself smelling fuel coming from your charcoal canister. Or you can just pull the whole setup and make a fuel tank vent.

You can run e85 . Im at 360whp 303trq on my greddy kit n still running stock exhaust. I just got a 70mm Test pipe. Running e85 boosting 13.5psi. Ive been trying to find a upgraded manifold for a while also but nothing. I've tried the pfab manifold but actually lost power with it. Thinking of trying the externally waste gated pfab manifold n converting the turbo to external waste gate n run it with a header back 3 inch exhaust.

E85 will give you a lot more power but it's not a daily drivable fuel and it deteriorates your motor.

Have you found anything on a rebuild? I have the greddy kit also. It's the t5118z . I wondering what other turbo would bolt up to the greddy manifold..
